This site showcases a selection of my formal, submitted and published writing from age 15 to the present. It contains literature and film analysis from high school and undergraduate explorations of cultural themes. From these it moves to articles I have written for fanzines and websites like pbsfm.org.au, marketing and professional writing from past roles and for my current employer, Connection Magazines. I have also included a small sample of my less self-indulgent recreational and blog writing efforts.
I hope it will show a certain versatility and growth – from the early, rather florid days of school and university, to passionate and carefully argued opinion pieces, to often disingenuous yet effective marketing writing, to personable human interest stories, to meticulously researched big-picture features – and reveal an inquisitive mind and a valuable pen-for-hire.
